CollageIt Review & Giveaway!!

I recently tried out a wonderful piece of software I'm thrilled to share with you! As I'm sure many of you know, there are endless amounts of photo editors out there, and so many amazing things that can be done with them, but this is the FIRST software I've seen specifically geared towards creating collages, and it makes creating them so simple it's amazing! I created a few of these, with photos I had handy, in only minutes, and they turned out great! You'd be VERY hard pressed to find a faster, simpler software for creating such great collages!

Scroll about halfway down for the giveaway! Rafflecopter may take a moment to load! Happy entering!!

The basics: Downloading the software took less than a minute, and installing it was just as fast. There isn't any bloatware added on to this, so you won't have to search for any extra downloads that need deleting. (A great thing considering how much can spam your computer tagging along with some downloads lately!) After downloading I started it up right away. There was ZERO lag, and no signing up for anything involved. It couldn't have gone smoother to get started with this program!

Using the software: When opening the software you are prompted to choose a layout for your collage. There are 15 choices that can be tweaked after you choose one. I chose one, and moved on to adding my photos. I was surprised yet again! Adding photos has to be one of the easiest things I have ever done! There is a bar on the left side that says to drop your photos there. You just go into whatever folder you have your photos in, and drag any you'd like to use into that area. The program keeps them all in that side bar, until you choose which ones you would like to use. This is just as simple - just click the photo you'd like to place, and drag and drop it into the spot on the collage you'd like it. You can do this for each photo and collage space, even replacing photos you've already placed by dropping a different one over them, or you can click the "Random Layout" button and the program will randomly place any photos you chose in the collage for you. If you don't like the way they were placed you can click the "Shuffle" button and it will randomly move the photos around for you. For a little more customization you can change the page setup, and the background to a choice of different colors or an image. On the right hand side there is a bar with options to change the layout by choosing how many photos you would like to use, setting the space between photos, and the margin, changing rotation, and sparse. There is also an option tab to change the photo frame and shadow.

After a little playing around I took a shot as my first collage. I didn't really choose a theme as I was just testing out the software, but I did choose photos of my husband, our daughter, and some of our family, and I have to say - I like it so much I'll be using it for my new facebook picture for sure. I'll also be using this software to make a few "tribute" collages of my husbands parents that have passed away, so I can share the photos we have with family and friends. I'm certain I won't be disappointed, and thankful for how much easier this software will make creating those.
